Senior Advisory Sales Executive

The world's leading benchmarking and professional advisory services firm is seeking a senior-level sales executive.

Requirements

As a CLIENT EXECUTIVE with the firm, you will be responsible for contributing to the firm's growth via development of new client relationships primarily with companies that have greater than $1 billion in annual revenue. The Client Executive will be expected to prospect and establish new client relationships with Hackett's Advisory Membership Programs targeted at C-level executives. He/she is also responsible for establishing effective communication channels with internal resources and service-delivery personnel as well as external executives to ensure the timely booking of revenue, client satisfaction and preservation of the value of the Firm's intellectual property. Specifically, the Client Executive will:

  • Manage a predefined territory and designated named accounts, selling the firm's Advisory services with the goal of maximizing revenues in a timely, reliable and consistent basis
  • Develop proposals and service contracts
  • Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly and annual sales bookings
  • Execute to the goals and objectives of the firm's annual sales plan
  • Develop and execute a cohesive sales strategy for designated accounts and prospects
Qualifications
  • A demonstrated track record of selling to C-level executives in large, diversified, global accounts, with skills ranging from identifying new opportunities to prospecting to closing
  • A solid understanding of business processes, how they function, and key issues and challenges within back office functions
  • A self-starter, goal-oriented and able to work with a high degree of autonomy
  • Strong client-management skills and be willing and able to prospect and open new accounts
  • Willing and able to travel up to 35% of the time to call on prospective clients
  • Ability to work effectively with other members of the Firm's sales and delivery teams
  • Strong executive presence
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
Required Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree minimum
  • 10+ years of selling experience in business advisory or research services, preferably to C-level executives of Fortune 1000 companies
  • Previous experience selling to large, complex global companies

Compensation
