Marketing Manager - REL Consultancy

Description:
REL has been the leader in supporting clients to generate cash, cost and service improvements from operational processes for over 30 years. We are seeking to leverage our track record to create a significantly higher public profile and stimulate demand for our professional services.
Responsibilities - Sales Support:
- Targeted Mailings - use of REL experience/intellectual capital to generate impactful letters to support prospecting (should be touching top 300 client prospects min of 4 times each year)
- Sales Collateral - develop and maintain suitable sales support materials that communicate REL's capabilities in a succinct and impactful manner
- Case Studies - ensure accuracy, consistency, availability and suitability of case studies to support the sales process
- Prospect Data Management - collaborate with appropriate company resources to ensure that client contact data is maintained for all prospects at Corporate & Divisional level for both Private and Public companies within REL's target market
Responsibilities - Public Relations:
- Conferences - selecting and scheduling appropriate venues for REL to engage with prospects through speaking engagements and Executive Workshops
- Article Placements - work with the consulting group to identify 'hot topics' and provide editorial support to get REL intellectual capital represented in the appropriate media
- Public Relations - work with REL's management team to define topical issues and PR opportunities (proactive and reactive) that enable REL to be positioned as experts, collaborate with REL's PR representative to gain access to appropriate journalists
- REL Web-Site - maintain and enhance REL's web site to reflect REL's capabilities and inform prospective clients and employees
Responsibilities - Thought Leadership:
- Research Agenda - Coordinate the REL research agenda through collaboration with REL's senior management team
- Practice Promotion - work with REL's Practice Leaders to identify and capture fresh insight and intellectual capital for inclusion in sales collateral and PR material
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
A qualified marketing professional with at least 3 years work experience. Ideally, the successful candidate will have previous experience leading marketing initiatives in a Professional Services environment.

- Must be able to collaborate across the entire organization
- Exceptional oral and written communications skills
- Ability to write in a descriptive but concise style
- Ability to grasp and explain technical concepts
- Must have strong organizational and project-management skills, plus the ability to set and meet project deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Professional qualification in Marketing
