Account Director (DACH)

Description

Accountable for managing the pipeline of business opportunities in a given territory assignment. Your job is to research and understand the business of your prospects & clients, and know current business trends that may impact their success.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities also include: growing the client relationship and expanding Hackett's business, managing a database of top prospects, establishing key contacts within that database, educating potential clients about Hackett, and marketing Hackett's solutions via in-person meetings, telephone calls, and networking. Your goal is to qualify the best opportunities for engagements; you will partner with other executives to strategize about new business and account penetration, create proposals, establish pricing, project budgets, and contract deals. You are the front end of an engagement pursuit team, energizing and supporting your team in the pursuit of new client acquisitions.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills
  • Excellent sales and communication skills
  • Proven track record in establishing a pipeline of business opportunities and converting them into actual sales
  • Ability to create compelling propositions for clients combining product and solution selling skills
  • Understanding of SG&A functions, with particular focus on CFO relationships and associated agenda
  • Experience in selling business solutions, preferably business transformation
  • Fluent in German and English
