Where will the conference be held?

All sessions and social functions will be held at the InterContinental Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta, GA.

How many CPE credits will I receive for attending?

You will receive up to 9 CPE credits for attending the 18th Annual Best Practices Conference.

What is the conference registration fee and what does it include?
  • $1295 per person; early bird registration fee of $895 if you register prior to March 1, 2008.
  • Registration fee is waived for two members for each Hackett's Process and Executive Advisory Programs to which your organization belongs.
  • The conference fee includes complete conference materials, as well as admission to all sessions, social events and meals.
  • Attendees are responsible for paying for their own airfare, ground transportation and hotel expenses.
May I invite other people from my company to attend the conference?

Additional people from your company may attend the conference. They must register on the Registration page of this website and make their own hotel reservations.

What is the deadline for registrations?

Registration for the conference should be made no later than Friday, April 11, 2008.

What is your cancellation policy?

Your registration may be canceled prior to the start of the conference. Any registration fees paid will be refunded provided an E-mail is sent to lmorrow@thehackettgroup.com prior to the start of the conference.

What is your policy on transferring registrations?

Substitutions may be made at any time. Please call the conference hot line at 770-225-7590 if you would like to transfer your registration to a colleague.

Will conference presentations be available after the conference?

All conference presentations will be available for 60 days beginning Tuesday, April 29. Location for download will be provided to conference attendees after the event.

What is the dress code for the conference?

Recommended attire for all sessions and social events is business casual. The rooms are kept quite cool so be sure to bring a sweater or jacket.

How and when can I make hotel reservations?

Please call the hotel directly at 404-946-9000 or 800-327-0200. Be sure to identify yourself as a participant in The Hackett Group conference to qualify for the discounted rate of $199 plus applicable taxes. The InterContinental Buckhead Hotel does not guarantee this rate after April 5, 2007.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel?

We suggest taking a cab or airport shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Shuttles run approximately $21 one-way. Cab fare will run approximately $30 - $35. Marta, Atlanta's underground rail service, is also available. It takes about 30 minutes to make the trip and costs $1.75. Driving instructions are located in the Travel section of the conference website.
