Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much time is required to complete the Learning & Development Study? The study consists of approximately 50 questions and should require 1-2 hours to complete, depending on how easy it is for you to obtain the necessary data points from within your organization. Note that the scope and depth of analysis is commensurate with the effort required to complete the study. Several sets of questions will repeat themselves as they will pertain to different learning themes.
  • When will the study be completed? Please do not delay in completing the study.
  • Is there a fee for participation in the study? There is no charge associated with this study.
  • What do I get in return? Respondents who answered all questions will receive a report presenting the study results. All participants will be invited to attend a webcast in April where the study results will be presented in aggregate. Hackett HR Executive Advisory Program members who participated in the study will also have an opportunity to discuss the results during our 2008 Learning & Development Roundtable Series.
  • Who in the organization should complete the study? The questionnaire should be answered by someone in your organization who is involved in Learning & Development, Training or HR and has a knowledge of cost and initiatives associated with the design and delivery of Learning & Development programs.
