Platform Accelerates Benefit Realization and ROI For Oracle Cloud Applications Implementations

MIAMI & LONDON, October 20, 2017 – At Oracle OpenWorld 2017, The Hackett Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: HCKT) launched its Digital Transformation Platform™, a proprietary Oracle Cloud diagnostic and implementation system. Using the platform, companies can improve ROI and optimize their Oracle cloud configurations using The Hackett Group’s performance targets, best practices and inventory of optimized cloud configuration solutions.

This platform allows companies to quickly and easily identify areas of opportunity and performance gaps by leveraging The Hackett Group’s nearly 2000 certified best practices. Specifically, this platform takes the client through a user-friendly portal to: clarify which practices and performance targets are most relevant to their situation; connect the client to the associated practices and performance levels necessary to achieve those benefits; and create a direct linkage from targets and best practices to how the related Oracle Cloud modules (ERP, HCM, EPM) should be used and configured to realize target improvements.

With this capability, companies can expect scoping, requirements and design activities to be greatly reduced from traditional means involving multiple weeks and months of working sessions. Instead, the platform will lead a company through the process steps and analysis in an efficient, digital manner. Most importantly, companies will dramatically impact their focus and uses of the various cloud modules on the specific capabilities that will enable Hackett-Certified® Best Practices and align to top-side business case targets.

With the advent of digital and cloud, companies are overwhelmed with various options, questions and”promises” in relation to technology alternatives, benefits and rapid implementation timelines. This platform creates the foundation to address these questions with proven practices, business benefits and in conjunction with Oracle’s market-leading integrated suite of cloud applications.

The Hackett Group is a platinum level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), with a Cloud Premier designation within the OPN Cloud program.

“Two years ago at Oracle’s OpenWorld we listened to Oracle leadership speak to their rapid migration to cloud applications. In response, we have been digitizing all our Benchmarking and Best Practices IP into the Digital Transformation Platform. This platform is our way of aligning to Oracle’s vision of rapid cloud application adoption in the market place,” said Scott McHale, Oracle Technology Leader for The Hackett Group.

The Hackett Group’s Digital Transformation platform is currently focused on the Oracle ERP Cloud Financials, HCM and EPM Planning modules, and is rapidly under-development to expand to the full ERP, EPM and HCM Oracle module set by calendar year-end.

“As waves of companies begin to embrace cloud applications, there is even more pressure on successful implementations and solutions that both help companies align with best practices and truly deliver value to the business,” said Ted A. Fernandez, Chairman & CEO of The Hackett Group.”The Hackett Digital Transformation platform does an exceptional job in both of these areas. It helps organizations quickly know which improvement opportunities will drive the greatest value, by enabling them to compare themselves with peer and world-class performers. Then it helps them build the direct linkage from targeted business performance improvements to Oracle cloud module use – giving clients the”line of sight” from business performance to the cloud suite. Targets, metrics, best practices, and module-by-module cloud application configuration are all at their fingertips.”

“Customers are always seeking new ways to measure and improve the value of IT investments like Oracle Cloud,” said Keith McMahon, Vice President, Oracle. “Tools like The Hackett Group’s Digital Transformation Platform can help customers achieve this goal.”
