The Hackett Group’s 2024 Supply Risk Management Study
Let us know how your organization is adapting your approach to managing supply based risk, with a focus on cybersecurity and supply chain risks.
After several years of circumstances featuring economic disruption and potential geopolitical risk, many organizations are operating in an environment of heightened risk concerns that have become more prominent in areas such as cybersecurity, supply chain, regulatory compliance, and environmental, social & governance. Many procurement teams have enhanced their risk management capabilities to adequately address the higher level of complexity and mitigate risk exposures more proactively for their organization.
In this study, we explore the approach that is being employed by procurement teams to manage supply based risk. Specifically, we will examine the following topics:
- Resource levels and service placement to support supply risk management activities.
- Supply risk management maturity, practices, risk mitigation strategies and technology enablement.
- Cybersecurity risk management events, risk mitigation strategies, practices, emerging generative artificial intelligence risks and technology use.
- Supply chain risk management events, risk mitigation strategies, practices and technology use.
