Participate in The Hackett Group's Payroll & Workforce Management Performance Studies to find out how top-performing organizations are leveraging best practices to reduce costs while maintaining service quality levels. This year, the payroll performance study includes additional questions that allow us to analyze performance in the following areas:

  • Shared Services
  • Globalization

By participating in this study, you will:

  • Gain insights into the characteristics of top-performing payroll organizations
  • Pinpoint the payroll cost drivers and identify potential savings for your organization
  • Know how - and how well - your organization leverages proven best practices
  • Learn the latest trends in payroll

You will also have an opportunity to participate in the Workforce Management Performance Study for no additional cost. Performance Study participants will receive a custom presentation and report that compares individual results to top performers and other participants. They will also be invited to an exclusive webcast that will discuss payroll trends, insights on key metrics, and evaluate the impact of best practices used by top-performing payroll organizations.

Please be assured that your responses will remain completely confidential and will be used only in combination with those of other study respondents to develop a composite picture. For more information about Hackett's Payroll and Workforce Management studies, please contact Felicia Cheek.

Paperless Payment Distribution Rate

Results from the 2009 Payroll performance study shows top-performing payroll organizations are leveraging paperless distribution methods to reduce overall payroll costs. The paperless payment distribution rate is calculated by adding the direct deposit participation rate (traditional and non traditional (pay cards)) with the electronic distribution of payment advice statements participation rate.

The Payroll Performance Study has provided us additional insight on the performance of our payroll organization and how it compares to other companies. We especially like the personal presentation and individual recommendations.
