Key performance indicators (KPIs)
A select group of metrics that provide the starting point for the development of all the others, and focus on service outcomes and key drivers. KPIs link to strategic objectives. They measure the success or failure of a strategy by translating its execution into quantifiable terms. They are the yardstick to define strategic progress.
