Quality improvement/ continuous improvement
Quality improvement, or continuous improvement, is the process by which an organization measures and seeks to improve the caliber of the goods and services provided, and ensures contractual or prescribed service levels are being met, and also includes activities related to transformation initiatives on an ongoing basis. The process includes, but is not limited to, Six Sigma programs, project management of ongoing programs, and merger and acquisition integration. Improvement initiatives on an ongoing basis in order to establish quality, productivity, and competitive position. Exploration of current processes to identify efficiency and effectiveness improvements. Service reviews with clients or business units to identify issues and areas for improvement. Internal and external benchmarking to identify process, technology, and people improvement opportunities.
