Multiagent Systems

Multiagent systems (MAS) are composed of multiple intelligent agents that interact and collaborate within a shared environment to achieve individual or collective goals. Each agent in a MAS operates autonomously, perceives its surroundings, makes decisions and may communicate or negotiate with other agents. These systems are designed to handle complex, distributed problems that are difficult for a single agent or centralized system to solve alone. MAS are widely used in fields such as robotics, logistics, smart grids and simulations – enabling scalable, adaptive and decentralized solutions through cooperative or competitive agent behavior.
