Corporate financial organizations are extremely challenged in times of the coronavirus pandemic, in an effort to mitigate the impact on sales, profits, debt and credit. The extent of the crisis is unique – even compared with the 2008 financial crisis. Depending on the impact on the sales markets and thus on liquidity, most companies are simply concerned with securing the medium-term existence. The finance function plays a key role in this.
