Agentic Workflows
Agentic workflows are structured sequences of tasks executed by AI agents that can reason, plan, and act with a degree of autonomy to achieve defined outcomes. Unlike traditional automation, agentic workflows adapt dynamically based on context, data, and intermediate results. They often involve multiple agents collaborating, using tools, and interacting with enterprise systems to complete end-to-end processes. In enterprise settings, agentic workflows are used to orchestrate complex activities such as research, analysis, decision support, and operational execution. When governed effectively, agentic workflows improve efficiency, scalability, and responsiveness while maintaining control, accountability, and alignment with business objectives.
