Cloud Computing

Cloud computing refers to the on-demand delivery of IT resources and services including servers, storage, databases, networking, software, and analytics—over the internet (“the cloud”) to offer faster innovation, flexible resources, and economies of scale. Instead of owning and maintaining physical infrastructure, organizations can access and pay for cloud services on demand. This enables businesses to scale more efficiently, enhance collaboration, and improve operational agility. There are several types of cloud models: public, private, and hybrid. Services are typically categorized as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). Cloud computing is foundational to digital transformation and modern IT.
