The Hackett Group is investigating finance function agendas, goals and strategies for success in 2025. Please share your priorities, plans and challenges in this questionnaire to the best of your ability.

We believe automation and AI capabilities give enterprises unprecedented capability to reimagine work, improve their responsiveness to change, and overcome key issues impacting their business objectives and performance.

With the pace of change in today’s market, we believe that generative AI (Gen AI) is a catalyst driving a rapid change, making it and the broader set of AI technologies an organization imperative. This need requires leaders to be proactive and develop a prioritized enterprise strategy now. Our hundreds of discussions on this have shown that those with a strategy – and implementing AI and Gen AI capability – are more confident in meeting business objectives and mitigating key issues.

This survey seeks to test our premise above and help us:

1. Understand the CFO’s strategic priorities and the finance organizations’ business priorities and key issues.
2. Gain an understanding of related finance initiatives and the mitigation strategies being planned to address key issues.
3. The organization’s objectives, key issues and mitigation approaches used.
4. Where and how the organization is using/leveraging Gen AI.
